Sabriel is a fantasy novel by Garth Nix, first published in 1995. It is the first in his Old Kingdom series, followed by Lirael, Abhorsen, and Goldenhand.  It is about Sabriel ,who meets Touchstone, and together they try to bring Sabriel’s dad back from the dead, But he cant come back so instead they do what her dad what doing, fighting monsters. Garth Richard Nix is an Australian writer who specialises in children’s and young adult fantasy novels, notably the Old Kingdom, Seventh Tower and Keys to the Kingdom series. He was born on July 19, 1963, Melbourne, Australia. Right now he is 55 years old. One movie he made is The Missing Key. The awards he got are Aurealis Award for best young adult novel, Aurealis Award for best fantasy novel. He has one child and his name is Thomas Henry Nix.
