Richard Russell Riordan Jr. is an American author. He is known for writing the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series, about a twelve-year-old boy who discovers he is a son of Poseidon. His books have been translated into 42 languages and sold more than 30 million copies in the US. HE was born on June 5, 1964, San Antonio. Right now he is 54 years old. The awards that he won are the Anthony Award for Best Paperback Original, and MORE! His education was at the Alamo Heights High School, The University of Texas at San Antonio, The University of Texas at Austin.
